I designed visually engaging, floral-inspired assets for FTD’s blog that transformed traditional content into editorial-style, shareable resources.
From lush photography and soft palettes to elegant typography and layered layouts, each infographic and visual paired seamlessly with articles on care tips, gifting, and seasonal planting, making complex information both beautiful and easy to consume. The approach generated measurable results, doubling year-over-year traffic, delivering a 139% increase in organic traffic to FTD.com over 3.5 years, a 68,973% increase in blog traffic, a 95% lift in blog traffic in the past year, and securing high-tier organic placements in Smithsonian Magazine, Wikihow, and The Balance.

Strategy
FTD, a premier online floral and gifting company, has been connecting people through flowers for over a century.
Despite its strong heritage and vast florist network enabling local same-day and next-day delivery, its digital presence had started to lag behind its legacy. Stagnant web traffic and an underperforming blog meant FTD wasn’t capturing its full online potential in an increasingly competitive market. The brand needed a revitalized content strategy to drive visibility, engagement, and growth.
Results
To reinvigorate FTD’s online presence, we developed a full-funnel content strategy designed to boost organic performance and authority.
This included top and middle funnel search-driven articles to attract qualified traffic, along with highly shareable, linkable content tailored to FTD’s key verticals such as entertaining, weddings, and gifting. Our in-house photography and video added a distinctive, elevated look that helped the brand stand out across channels.
