Collaged Digital Design for AKC®PI

Overview

As an in-house designer for AKC® Pet Insurance, I elevate and maintain the brand’s visual identity while collaborating across teams to create a variety of marketing assets.

To bring more life and approachability to the brand, I introduced vintage landscape elements, new illustration styles, and emblem shapes to add depth, playfulness, and a layered collage aesthetic that sets the brand apart in the busy pet space. I maintain brand guidelines and support external teams to ensure consistency. Through collaborating with the email team and developers I have created visually compelling email campaigns that reflect the brand’s voice, showcase key insurance offerings, and drive engagement. I also design social assets for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, producing on-trend, timely content, including quick-turnaround posts like the Taylor Swift record announcement, the brand’s most engaged post to date.

Quote Drip Email Series

I designed the quote drip email campaign, collaborating closely with the email strategy team and developers to create visually compelling emails within the often-restrictive Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. I created wireframes, templates, variables, and styles in Figma that could be easily translated to SFMC and reused for future emails, saving the team time. The campaign highlighted the brand’s voice, showcased key insurance offerings, and improved open rates while reinforcing brand affinity.
